More bus problems today. 12.15pm from Otley failed to turn up and the 12.35pm from Otley was late. A bus with no service sign did drive past though. What it was doing out of service and driving to Ilkley when there wasn't any other buses on time is anyone's guess.
Eventually a bus did arrive about after 40 minutes wait and I just got to work, on time, by the skin of my teeth.

Aparently there were more delays, with the so-called bus service, on Saturday. A large group of people were kept waiting in Ilkley waiting for several non-existent buses.

Unbelievable day for the X84 bus service. First of all I was late for work as the 9.35am bus due from Otley was 20 minutes late.

Getting home from work truly was a nightmare! 3 buses failed to turn up so there was a crowd of people at Ilkley bus station all trying to get home. I overheard a few people vowing never to come back to Ilkley as they said the X84 bus service constantly let them down and it just wasn't worth the hassle. I have to use the X84 as it's the only bus to go past my house. A bus finally came at 3.04pm, which would usually mean peak fare but we all kicked up a fuss about the appalling lack of service and that if the bus came when it was suppose to we would have paid half fare. Luckily we were all allowed to buy half fare tickets.

I do have a new bus stop and I must say it's rather lovely, they even cleared a space for me to stand on. Now I need them to remove the bush next to the bus stop so I can see oncoming buses and traffic. If I poke my head out to have a look I nearly get my head chopped off by cars.
